Val d'Europe is much more than just an RER station next to Disneyland Paris. It is a modern new town in Seine-et-Marne, built in partnership with Disney in the 1990s, which has become one of Île-de-France's most dynamic economic and commercial hubs.

Val d'Europe is a district of the commune of Serris (77700), in sector IV of Marne-la-Vallée. It comprises several towns:
